The History of Twist of Fate (Formally Vell-Vet Crow) goes back a few years, here is the short version. Ansyn (guitar, drums) and Pete (bass, programming,sound engineer) met while attending college at Vincennes University,sometime in Fall 2001, and grew a friendship finding music as a stepping stone to their friendship. During this time, they formed several bands and played a few shows. Around 2003 Ansyn moved from playing drums to playing guitar when he realized they were not going to find a steady guitar player. Even after college Ansyn and Pete still kept in touch and continued to play together,as a duo. Ansyn stayed on guitar & Vocals, and Pete on Bass. With a few failed attempts to still find a guitarist that could have to time to attend rehearsals and shows, Ansyn met Steven through a mutual friend. He is an Awesome lead guitar player, Ansyn continues to play rhythm guitar. Steven's Brother in-Law was added to play drums. He adds his own flavor while keeping a steady beat, keeping the rest of the band in time and in sync. Twist of Fate is now a blue/rock band,with a little country. Sometimes they unplug and play acoustically. They do however mostly plug in the electric guitars, and really rock the house down. Twist of Fate plays covers but also have original songs as well. On October 25th 2008, Twist of Fate played at Tequila Sheila's in Grayville,IL. Video posted soon.
We will be playing in Grayville,IL at Chappy's Bar. January 23 and 24. This is a big deal for the whole band, please....if you can come out a support us.
