The Smoke Rings

The Smoke Rings are an energetic rock band from the Southern Illinois/Indiana Area, that fuses the sounds of modern alternative and classic rock. The five piece band consists of Stephanie Smith on lead vocals, the brothers Jake & Chris Martin on guitar and drums, Shawn Storckman on bass and Darren Phillips on keyboards and guitar.

The band has a long history of performing in the Midwest as well as three years playing the most famous underground clubs in New York City. The Smoke Rings pride themselves in their ability to perform challenging material and have a huge catalog of both covers and original music.

Musicianship and showmanship are key attributes associated with the group. Always full of surprises the band constantly works out new material keeping each show fresh and different from the last. The Smoke Rings are heavily influenced by the classics such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, as well as modern bands like Radiohead and The Arcade Fire.
